Where it all started

Meet Lucky and Red. They were the first horses my daughters rode. We spent every summer on my family's horse farm. I enjoyed endless hours photographing the kids riding horses, swimming in the pond, and playing in the fields. It was a quintessential summer childhood. 25 years later, my Father-in-Law passed away and my Mother-in-Law sold the farm. 25 years is a long time, and when you are in the thick of it, you think you will remember everything. Time has show me just how limited my memory is. I am forever grateful that I captured so many of the wonderful memories in photographs. I encourage you to capture the memories, and print them. When I visit my family's home, I walk into the kitchen and there is Lucky and Red on a canvas print bringing a smile to my face. Searching for photos on my computer or phone is not the same experience. Make the memories, capture them in photos, and print them for generations to come.
